Julius Caesar comes to Southmoreland Park, Kansas City June 11 – June 30, for Heart of America Shakespeare Festival's 32nd Season! This play tells the story of the conspiracy against Caesar, his assassination and the defeat of his conspirators. As the world spins out of control, chaos and superstition lead to civil war.

Nightly Schedule:

  • 6:00 p.m. – Gates open. Food and drink available from Festival vendors through intermission.

  • 6:30 p.m. – Pre-show Parody performed by Team Shakespeare

  • 7:00 p.m. – Show Talk

  • 7:15 p.m. – Pre-show Parody performed by Team Shakespeare

  • 8:00 p.m. – Julius Caesar performance

Select your date, June 11 – 30, Tuesday – Sunday, NOW as this will be a production you DON’T want to miss. Admission is FREE, with reserved seating options available. 

Interested in reserving a seat in advance?

General admission to the Festival is FREE, but seat reservations are available for $25 for performances on Sunday – Thursday (no shows on Mondays) or $35 for performances on Friday and Saturday. Reserved seating will be available for purchase starting May 15, 2024.
